Match Report

vs Stirling (2010-05-07)

On a bright but cold Friday evening at McKane our Under 11s entertained Stirling. Whilst this was a fairly inexperianced team the young Knights equitted themsleves well wtih some very good batting, bowling and fielding.

Stirling with more experiance in their team were convincing winners with Will and Lackland batting well and Cameron taking all 3 of their wickets.

On the home front a strong batting and bowling performance from Nabil was great to see as was the bowling of Ben and Andrew.

James enthusiastically took on the roles of Captain and keper and encouraged all his players well. Thanks to Nathan, Roddy, Daniel,  Connor and Imran for all fielding well and restricting Stirling to only 259.

34 of Stirlings runs came from extras compared to only 10 for Dunfermline so clearly more work is required with bowling but we have the makings of a very strong team. Taking more wickets than Stilring is a huge positve. Well done everyone.
