vs Largo (2010-05-10)

A convincing win for Largo who set Dunfermline a total of 139 to chase. Managing only 65 in reply this was a fixture that will go down as one where lessons need to be learned.

Largo set about their task well running at just about every oportunity for singles and two's. Andrew top scored with 21 but there were notable runs scored right down their order. Special mentions to two of their young guns Aiden and Hughes who scored 13 and 14* runs respectively and took 2 and 3 wickets each.

Dunfermline suffered with our age old problem of the dreaded "extras" adding to the Largo score. 54 in total is too much to give away to a team with the experiance of Largo so a lot more hard ball practice at training seems to be the order of the day. Two wickets apiece from Andy Penman and Ben Thomson show promise.

Captain Ben managed 26 not out but with only 18 runs coming from the rest of the team we really did struggle with the bat.
